Here is my latest finish. I did not do any backstitching because I wanted to leave it as an abstract. I know of at least one person that will like this (C.B.). As with the last one, I have to figure out what I will do with it. Thanks for looking and commenting. Have a great time stitching.

Here is an update on my butterfly. It is coming along nicely

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

Here is a start. It is one even weave 14 ct over two. I dyed the material with grapes. Not happy with the dark spots but it . gives it character I guess. It is a butterfly. Can't figure out how to rotate the picture the proper way. Thanks for looking. TTFN

Well, here is another one. I am going to make a pillow out of it. Not my best work. Too many mistakes. Better luck next time.

Mission Complete

Wow, what a day. Rode to South Bend airport to pick up a sailor and escort him to his hometown. While we (Indiana Patriot Guard) were waiting for him to get off the plane, we found out a lady and her three little kids were waiting for her husband on the same plane. He is a marine just getting back from Iraq on leave. So we honored and welcomed him also. It was a long ride in the rain but well worth it. Mission Accomplished.
