More stuff

OK, this is my chance to catch up to others. These are some of the first pens that I have turned. The two on the left are whitetail antler and the others are acrylics. The purple is my wife's favorite so far. I know at least one other person that will most likely like it also. Stay tuned for more.

One Of My Favorite Hobbies

This is another of my favorite hobbies. This is my first big buck and my first mount. It took me six years to get this guy. I even found a couple of sheds this year; also a first.

First Works

These are a couple of my first works with a wood lathe. My first work was a salt and pepper shaker set that I made from a mulberry tree I cut down for a friend that was having land cleared for a future house. I also made a set out of a walnut tree from the same property. These are some vases that I have been working on. The wood is walnut and mulberry. The wood came from the same property as the wood for the shakers. I put a water tube down the center of the taller vases so the flowers last longer. The smaller vases are sealed on the inside so the water will not damage the wood.
